About NABL

NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India) is the sole Accreditation Body in India for maintenance of Quality System which meets requirements of International Guide and Norms for Laboratories as per Standard ISO/IEC 17025:1999.

NABL maintains its linkages with international bodies like ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Conference) and APLAC (Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation) by participating in their conference.

Getting such an accreditation, the Test Certificates/Test Reports for accredited Tests are upheld as valid in all countries under ILAC umbrella.
